Krokus, Świstak, Juhas

Take a look inside our cabins

The videos show the interior of one of our cabins. Krokus, Świstak and Juhas all have the same layout and amenities.

Krokus Cabin

Krokus is the first of the three Góralski Groń cabins. It is located closest to the entrance, before Świstak and Juhas. Its name comes from the crocuses that bloom in Witów in spring. These flowers are one of the most recognisable symbols of the Tatra Mountains’ natural beauty.

Świstak Cabin

Świstak is the middle cabin, located between Krokus and Juhas in the central part of the property. Its name comes from the Tatra marmot, which is found only in the Tatra Mountains in Poland. These animals live in family colonies in high-altitude mountain meadows and warn each other of danger with their distinctive whistles.

Juhas Cabin

Juhas is the last of the three cabins when approaching from the entrance. Its name refers to the traditional shepherds who have been involved in sheep grazing in the mountain pastures of Podhale for generations. Known as juhasi, they assisted the head shepherd, called a baca, in looking after the flock and carrying out daily shepherding duties.
